How would your perfect shonen manga be?
>>133917604
Mine would be the story of a man who, through his own determination, wit, and ambition, multiplied his fortune thousands of times and uses the fruits of his labor to make his country great again.
Title: Shonen Trump
>>133917604
TLR, same chapter length but weekly
>>133917604
It would be called Dragon Ball and written by Toriyama.
>Shaft does Oregairu S3
Really interested how Oregairu would turn out if Shaft adapted it.
I just want someone to do it.
Fuck, I'll take KyoAni at this point.
Couldn't possibly be any worse than S2.
What was it's name again?
Is that Kirino?
>>133917261
Saemen Daemon
How is he so good at being a hit-man if literally ever person knows about him?
>>133917228
>everyone knows about him
>still unstoppable
looks like you answered your own question
>>133917272
>dozens of police girls and secret agents have slept with him for "intelligence" purposes
>they still haven't uncovered the secret behind his amazing penis
Why do they keep trying to shoot him?
Why don't they try poison or some shit?
So everyone here agrees Buu saga was the worst, right?
The Red Ribbon Saga was the worst. People pretend to like it because they think it makes them patrician but it's the low point of the series.
It's one of the best in the series
>>133917046
How is the Red Ribbon saga the worst?
Between Commander Blue, Ninja Murasaki, Android 8, Korin's Tower, fucking Taopaipai, and Goku meeting Gohan again, it's also the most the series has embraced the idea of an adventure, and it has good reason for being being noted by many as being the best.
Never saw that much Dragonball because Cartoon Networks schedule was screwed up for months after 9/11
Now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that One-Punch Man is, for now, the best anime of the decade?
No it's a shitty meme show, even Umaru was better desu
>>133916866
No. It's basically a show dedicated to all those hipsters who shit on shonen anime.
Its pretty epic but not as mature as Fate/Zero so no.
Which girls make you want to commit a crime?
Your waifu.
I just want to fuck her in mating press position and shooting my cum as deep inside of her as I can while you watch OP.
I mean, nothing personal, I just really want to fuck her.
>>133916752
Difference is, mine isn't a slut
Why did Nichijou flop again?
because trumpets were used in the op
>>133916663
Unfunny forced animation
>>133916663
Sales-wise? Because the BDs were hilariously expensive.
Dumping images.

Are our favorite 90s anime actually any good? Or do they evoke a small spark of something we once felt, which we refuse to let go of? Is that what this feeling in my stomach is?
What have you been watching? I've been watching CCS, but I saw someone post some Slayers BD screenshots the other day and they made my dick diamonds. Really considering rewatching it all.
>we will never see the last 8 novels animated fully

>we will never see the last 8 novels animated fully
As someone who got into Slayers during the 90's this fact makes me sad.
>>133916903
>TRY comes out
>Some cool stuff, great Xellos scenes, terrible filler
>It's okay guys, Lost Universe sucked so next season will be great!
>decade later

>REZO IS BACK......

>STILL NO SWORD OF LIGHT

That's what I honestly wondered back then.
I know they started printing the original novels into a more child friendly format (all in furigana) but I seriously hope Kadokawa didnt push those two out just for recap sake
Just watched the show and read the entire manga.
What did /a/ think of alien nine?
I'm trying to remember it honestly. I read it a few years back, but it's just jumbling together with Milk Closet.
I don't think I regret reading it or anything, its shock factor wasn't completely over the top or anything. I think I generally found their manga way too fast-paced. Like basically on fast-forward and couldn't really absorb it well enough. It would be a lot better if things didn't happen so quickly.
As for anything else I can remember, I think the yuri was probably a little excessive. It's just a jumble to be honest though.
>>133916792
I agree, I enjoyed the story but the manga was too fast for me to really digest the story properly. It's a shame, the anime was great. If they had done a complete adaption it would have been one of my favorites. There wasn't that much yuri as I recall, not compared to more modern shows anyway.
Emulators was complete shit though.
>>133916956
I actually find it quite rare for manga to have genuine pacing problems. Most of the time it can be compensated by actually trying to read slower or faster. Often, pacing problems are made much worse when its translated to anime, which I guess makes this series a bit odd.
I think Emulators left a bad taste in my mouth as well. As a whole I think the series had a lot more potential, but it wasn't really capitalized properly. Even though I don't really like the suffering type series by Mohiro Kitoh,...

Having rewatched the Cell games recently, I can't help but realize how many awesome moments it has:
- Mr. Satan's debut as hilarious comic relief.
- All the major fighters show up, even Yamcha and Tien, in what would be the climax of their arc.
- Goku fights Cell at first testing his strength. We're tricked into thinking Goku would be the big hero again, but he backs down and suggests Gohan
- Android 16 blows himself up to try and beat Cell
- The Cell Jr's attack the heroes and we get to see every character fight.
-...

Its probably the last time Toriyama cared about all the characters not named Goku and Vegeta.
>>133916896
Both Vegeta and Goku were dead for over half of the Buu Saga.
>>133916324
>QUICK! LETS ATTACK CELL ONE BY ONE...WITH AN HOUR IN BETWEEN!
This fucking trope... THIS FUCKING TROPE.
Hey guys. Recently I reread a manga I liked but never continued reading. Rosario to Vampire. Now I know what you're thinking anon: "wtf that was so shit get your waifu loving ass out of here" but honestly even though the anime was a complete and utter cash in harem fest, the manga had a decently compelling story. Sure there were a lot of cliche' plots and I thought the ending should have been darker, I enjoyed it for being a decent and entertaing ride with some unique concepts and really fucking good art.
Tl;DR I enjoyed the manga but the anime...

Pandora Hearts
MaoYuu
I stopped watching adaptations.
What's wrong with self-sacrifice?
What's wrong with killing many people to save the world?
What's wrong with killing themselves to save the others?
What's wrong with calling them heroes?
