I'm about to finish up the black rose arc on this, and despite everyone's praise for this show it's really been a grind watching it
Now I've definitely heard that this arc is questionable at best, but please tell me it gets better because this shit is really starting to get repetitive
repetitive might not be the right word, I guess "formulaic" would be better
>character's motives are established and trampled
>they go to counseling chamber and get ring
>they go to the object of their emotions and get a weapon
>wacky stained glass scene with 2 girls doing a sketch bit explaining the situation in a roundabout way

anime characters that instantly set you off the moment you see them
How are you supposed to beat this guy?
191 days to go
How come Momo had an existential crisis when Rito and Haruna kissed by accident but she was excited when Yui was about to outright fuck him?
1. To Love-ru used to care about love triangles.
2. It happened before it was revealed that To Love-ru was a modern art protest against Japanese vaginal censorship regulations.
This is the first Love Lab should've been yuri thread of 2016
would've gotten a season 2 like Hibike if it was
Who wins in a fight between the two ultimate joke characters?
Except this time your objective is to make someone drop a series with one page.
How can CG look this awesome?
It was fucking stupid, how much money did they spend on the CG and they made no attempt to blend it in with the 2D animation. Maybe you can justify it for Berserker and Caster's tentacle form since they're supposed to be "otherworldly", but all of the CG vehicles stuck out like a sore thumb.
I was fine with BAZAKA's jet since it was mostly covered in smoke and fighter jets are cool. But Gil's floating gold block stood out way too much, plus I didn't like the gold and green color scheme.
look at this red haired skank
is this the birth of an epic new meme
dont fucking reply to my thread again
Is this the only instance where the anime was vastly superior to the manga?
No, it's almost always the case with manga that come after the animated series. On top of that the only problem you usually have with anime based on manga is if the art is adapted badly and it doesn't have a proper budget to make good animated scenes. If it's done well though, then it will automatically surpass the original. Just take any madhouse or bones adaptation.
I want one of my very own
