huh, never considered that. I might have a lot of inspirational material from one artist but never considered it.
Seems like they dont stand out as much as say, a 2D artist.
Though I can name a few poser "artists" off hand. That may just be my bad taste.
Furio Tedeshi is mandatory

Have you ever considered it?
I've watched this dude on DA go from being a nobody to winning dominance war 4, to getting married, to getting a job at blizzard.

He actually offered a class once on his technique years ago.
The curriculum is still listed on some website, but I wish it were just videos. Instead, it's an actual class session, that he has to be there to teach, and he hasn't done it in years :(

Holy shit, that's real talent.
I guess I wont ever be able to be as good as him.

>3D Artists
>relevant
Nobody cares who 3D artists are, it's all about the work they do. The less we know about the actual artists the better. I mean you don't want to associate good work with some greasy dick-faced artist wannabe now do you ? No, because that will just take away from anything decent anybody could possible feel for their art.
I know it hurts because we all want recognition ... it's just better this way, trust me.
>>525465
do you only like overdesigned robots
>>525834
its more in sense of inspiration, if we didn't have art to look at we wouldn't push ourselves to improve

>>525838
simple robot designs are better looking
I really haven't looked up any artist name. I just look up to the art itself.
does anyone feel like 3d artists in general are a lot less creative than 2d artists?
maybe it's just how the industry expects 2d artists to create concepts and 3d artists to base their work on concepts
>>525853
there are plenty of completely humorless and uncreative 2d artists in the concept art field, too. oh excuse me, that's right, it's "the industry," not "field"
>>525854
hence "in general"
>>525839
Geez kid, you're making me feel kinda bad. Don't take life so seriously, I'm just fucking with you.
>>525858
i think you seem to mistaken /b/ with /3/, this is not your summer retreat.
>>525834
I know I'm not greasy or dick faced.
