deleting history, freezing transforms, hell even positioning it where I want and maintaining offset moves it strangely. I even recreated the entire mesh and it produces similar bugs. Many of the faces will place it in the exact same weird spot, while other faces will do the same with a different spot.

And your rigging alternative is...? Let me guess: Blender?
Have you unwrapped your UVs? Point on Poly uses UVs, so if they're unwrapped / overlapping it's gona fuck up.

Oh wow, I was unaware it was UV based. That fixed everything, thanks anon.
