well they were cheap 1080p screens and my graphics card could run them, so I figured why not. In all honestly I only really use the middle and Left hand one, when I'm doing 3D work (and the tablet ofc) but, the right one is great for putting up reference images and concept art without me having to minimize anything. Not the most aesthetically pleasing setup but it works great for me!

Thx for advice anon. I'm still working on getting the corners attached to metal strings to the ceiling but for now the corner brackets that hold the oak plywood are quite solid. I like having them on eye level when im standing.

3 Monitors are perfect for /3/d-stuff, 2 for software 3rd for email/messaging/reference images.

Seriously, basic 21" monitors are somewhere 100 - 300 $ and they use practically no energy what so ever compared to household consumption. And the benefit that extra screen space gives is enormous.

Thankfully that isnāt my setup- I am using a single 7990 3GB OCād to 1GHz, and coming off of an old 5770 1GB and a 5450 1GB itās a dream- bonus is my machine isnāt nearly as hot with only a single GPU in it now, and I was able to dump the 5770 into the Poweredge 2900 I have under here for a secondary render node.

Well yes. I said that I am in between jobs not a bozo. Somehow managed to collect it all.
University was government funded (highest grades and what not) so didn't had to spend money on that. During studies worked a lot at nights editing photos, learning basic 3d and first 3d assignments. Some small photography assignments and cameraman tasks. Fixed other people comptuers time to time. Lived in dorms that were beyond terrible. 3 guys in small room where bed bugs and roaches where common problem.
Right after studies started to work in advertising agency as multimedia artist, got better offer as mograph guy abroad. Somehow didn't work out test period. But managed to scrape with that salary computer parts. Before that I even didn't had a case for my parts. And now freelancer with debts and cheap/bad diet.
Headphones- yes. AKG k77. Around 7 years old and time to time can refresh my soldering skills.
980Ti. because GPU rendering is a killer feature.
Laptop - yes. Got it for free. I guess previous owner didn't bother to fix it.
So I know that this still looks like a crap but to be honest- I still am happy and proud for what I got.
