I still have a picture of my first model I made... almost 4 years now.. Anyone still have images of their first post?
this is my second, did this in sketchup which is easier than blender.
my first was just a kitchen design in sketchup i did for my parents

forgot pic
Last year, July
>that diarrhoea paintjob
>those bevel-less edges
>that lack of bump because I forgot that viewport and render looks different
>that weird ass positioning of the model to the camera
>those parts with material that looks exactly like chocolate
>that fucking horizontal texture seam right at the front of the tank
>that shitty unoptimized wireframe which luckily no one can really tell
>the cringeworthy recollection of when I was actually proud of this
not my first thing ever but this i made about 20 years ago
I made this about a year ago.
Alucard's .454 Casull
Im probably the odd one out because I made it in autodesk inventor.

>More than 20 years old
>has such a fucking retarded tag.
Your name makes you sound like a 10 year old COD graphics designer for the l33t mlg proz
Before starting my course we were told to have a go at something random after a few basic how to use maya lessons.

so its from a tutorial? not bad

>that fucking horizontal texture seam right at the front of the tank
I'm not seeing it.
Pretty sure I lost my absolute first model in an HDD crash. Made that one in Anim8or. Does anyone else remember Anim8or? No? Okay, then.
I have lost alot of my old Files due to HDD issues. But this is something i have recently been constructing.

I have had a look at it. Seems pretty neat, for a starter 3d toy.

It's a neat little introduction to the basic concepts of modeling, without all the confusing bells and whistles and keyboard shortcuts of Blender or the commercial suites. But, unfortunately, whatever algorithm it uses to calculate vertex transformations is wack. You'll never quite get one where you want it to be.
Silo is a good alternative.

No its not from a tut, I used a faerie house as the basis for design, I had learnt from a tutorial on making a sword.
>>507317
even better
>>505596
my first low poly, following a tutorial
this is still in my portfolio, pls b gentel
Well i don't want to brag, but....
>>507342
Looks cute, do more
>>507346
thanks, i plan to...wanna see more?

this is the last one i got, doing the apron was really hard,
i still don't have much clue on how to do clothes.
probably not total shit because i had a lot of experience in sculpting irl

Finish like 10 mins ago..
i pretty much just started

Holy crap I still have a picture of my first model! It's just a bunch of shapes stuck together onto an Unreal Tournament 2004 skeleton.
Milkshape represent! But man. . . I must have made this like eight or nine years ago.
Not my first, but the oldest thing I have an image of.

Adjudicator?
>>508078
kinda, yes, but also quinna from FF
>>507987
awful/10, but its ok to be awful, don't worry.
did you do all that by yourself?
i'd say to first try and get good with characters and animation before worrying about voices and episodes and scenarios and writing etc
then get someone to do all that stuff for you, doing it all by yourself is crazy
made from a tutorial, got me really interested in using blender
>>508112
but working with other people or developing skill would only harm my unique artistic vision.
>>508184
of course! you can do shit forever, don't worry, just don't expect anything to come out of it.
>>508203
Took me, like, 3 weeks.
I didn't even know about Bridge and Cap. I did everything manually. What a pain.
It was hell to figure out how to mantain shape correctly with support loops. Topology sucks.
