We're qualified for the next 4chan Autumn Cup but our last manager died so we're gonna need a new one or we'll be disqualified.
Signups for the cup start are in like 10 days, so we'll need one pretty soon.
Anyone interested? I know the last few times we had a thread there were folk getting involved with the team, but that was a good few months ago so I'm hoping that interest is still here.

There's not much work to do (unless you want to), it's just we need a living manager to actually compete.
/3/ already have a team set up since we were in Spring, so it would just be a case of changing tactics if you wish and updating the roster.

Even if no one thinks they have enough of a clue about football to make tactics, it would be nice to see someone step up so we can at least play.

It's a 4chan soccer/football cup with all the boards participating against each other.
It's mostly for people to watch as it's good fun, but we'll need someone in charge (a manager) so our board can submit a team and take part.
If anyone is interested, of course post your interest in here, but also contact 'that.king.lear' on Skype so you can get signed up.
Most other things like the 3D models and custom kits seen in >>494240 are dealt wih by another guy in the cup, so there's not much to worry about as a manager.

Technically yes, although there isn't any 'playing' involved really.
The teams are on autopilot, but the manager creates the tactics and manages if he wishes during games, there is no actual skill with football games needed.
The cup is streamed by one dude who takes in the managers' orders and applies them, then streams the two teams facing off, there is no actual playing, just watching.

/3/'s recent history in the cup has been poor. They have not played in an elite cup since 2012, where they bombed out against /tg/ and /toy/ before getting a consolation victory against /v/. They did actually qualify for the 2013 Summer Cup, but the Dragongate scandal got them disqualified from the competition. After that, /3/ went on a seven game losing streak in the cup before finally beating /gd/ 2-1 in their final 2014 Spring Babby Cup match.
/3/ started the 2014 Autumn Babby Cup positively, drawing /k/ and /d/ and then beating already-promoted newcomers /t/ 4-0. This meant that they needed a draw or better against /b/ to make it to the 2015 Winter Cup, but they bombed out against when Trolled 2 Death scored the only goal of the match after a few minutes (/b/ went on to win the cup 2-1 against /e/)
Their most recent performance in the cup was in the 2015 Spring Babby Cup, the first in PES 2015. superTWINKY's meme formations created a semen-slurping borefest against /gd/, who scored the only goal of the match with 20 minutes to go. A surprise 4-1 win over /an/ gave the team some hope, but a 3-2 loss to /v/ sent them crashing back down. Needing a win against /tv/ to have some hope of qualifying for the 2015 Summer Cup, they ground out the first 0-0 draw in a cup match played on PES 2015. /3/ were technically still alive in the cup and needed a /gd/ win by at least 2 goals, followed by a /v/-/an/ draw, to get them into the elites. Sadly, /tv/ won 1-0 against /gd/, confirming /3/'s place in the lower level again (/v/ and /an/ did manage to draw). /tv/ went on to win the cup.

I had some nazi janitor memorabilia I found of my disk. I made a cockllage of images to give a feel of what was happening on /3/ around that era.
Complaining about things like Nazi Janitor being on the team or suggesting changing players like ratboygenius doesn't really mean much if nobody steps up to manage /3/. For starters, the team won't play at all if nobody steps up. Secondly, the team can't change anything at all unless somebody tries to be manager.
It's not exactly a difficult thing to try and do, just have one person prove to the verifications guy that they're a legit /3/ user and there you go, the team can change whatever they want and have a free ticket in to the next cup. Easy.
Reminder that the signups for the cup are in less than 24 hours. Get a manager if you want to PES your way into Winter.
I was involved a couple of years ago as a sort of co-manager, but we never made it very far, obviously. It didn't help that I was in school most of the time, either. Now, however, I have more than enough time to dedicate to something like this, so I'm more than happy to volunteer.

They tend to be made on >blender, but I'm pretty sure you'd be able to export as a .obj on other programs as long as you supply a texture and a working UV map.
Also keep it 5000 polys or under.
If anyone does, post them in here and I can see if it's possible to convert it to PES.

Sorry about the late response.
I re-scaled the neck and put in place one of the face models that PES uses so the player's head will move correctly, and it's looking damn fine.
If you feel like it, you could do faces for any of the players up here >>494145 , or any new players that the board/manager has in proposal.
