I unfortunately had to edit a lot of frames (png) to make an animation in PS and now I'm stuck w .psd and the gif conversion is garbage...
has anyone successfully worked around issues with .psd to .gif conversion or getting the video render to work or converting to .avi, .mp4, .wmv?

is there a way to rotate pipes like that in blender? there is bend modifier but any easier way ?
create cylinder, delete cap, duplicate, rotate, merge, bridge. Works in max/maya; should work in Blender.

I want to do a stop motion video. I have the free trial of Dragonframe, but it comes with watermark and the full software is too expensive (300$).
Do you know a good alternative? I have been looking a torrent or something for Dragonframe, but there is nothing.
Dragonframe is pretty neat, but its not 3d and you don't need a software to make stop motion.

Relatively new modeler, working on making a low poly/hand painted texture garden type scene for school. Critique very much welcome, though I know there's not much to see yet. Gonna try 3D coat for the first time to texture, anyone have any advice/helpful tutorials?

You should triangulate a bit more reduce the uneeded edges look at it from a bit of distance and see what parts, don't really change the shape and remove them.

Anyone know of a good (free or cheap) program that can easily add thickness to a 3D-scanned STL shell?
And does anyone know if there's a parametric or half-parametric program capable of handling scanned STLs like solids?
Trying to "effectivise" the model-prep process for scanned models before printing. Currently doing everything manually every time.
I usually do this in Blender, but Meshmixer is free and can probably do a better job.
